Longines RailRoad Watch from Baselworld 2016

Longines emphasizes its long tradition as a designer of railroad watches and reissues a timepiece from the 1960s. The 40mm diameter steel case houses the L888.2 automatic winding calibre, produced exclusively for Longines.

The back shows an engraving inspired from the original decorations that adorned the pocket watches designed for railway companies in the 1920s.

The dial shows the time from “0” to “23”. That´s the way time is indicated by the military and all other official authorities, airlines, … when it comes to read the time in a way so there is no mistake possible. the day starts with 0:01 and ends with 23:59.
